Hi, I'm Jordan. I am a fourth-year PhD Candidate in the Department of Philosophy at McGill University. I work primarily in metaethics, normative ethics, and social & political philosophy. I'm also interested in the history of moral and political philosophy. I'm working on my dissertation. It is a collection of essays about the value of humanity. My research is funded by a Joseph-Armand Bombardier SSHRC Doctoral Scholarship to Honour Nelson Mandela (2021-2024). I am currently a Doctoral Fellow with the Groupe de recherche interuniversitaire en philosophie politique (GRIPP) and the Research Group on Constitutional Studies (RGCS). Previously, I was a Doctoral Fellow with the Groupe de Recherche Interuniversitaire sur la Normativité (GRIN) and the Centre de Recherche en Éthique (CRE). Before coming to McGill, I earned my MA in philosophy from Concordia University. Before that, I graduated with distinction from the University of Guelph with a BA in philosophy.
